Micro-powder abrasive generally refers to corundum-series and silicon carbide-series abrasive which the size of grain is F230 and finer; it is mainly used for the manufacture of bonded abrasive products, general industrial uses, and precision lapping.
The micro-powder abrasive manufactured by our company by adopting advanced domestic machining equipment and inspection equipment features accurate grain size, stable grain shape, and high lapping efficiency.
Product series complying with the Chinese national standard (GB) and Japanese industrial standard (JIS), etc., can be provided according to customer requirements.
Performance
WA micro-powder abrasive: white in color, harder and more brittle than brown fused alumina. It features strong cutting force, good chemical stability, and excellent insulation.
GC micro-powder abrasive: green in color. It features high hardness, strong cutting capability, stable chemical properties, and good thermal conductivity.
Applications
WA micro-powder abrasive: can be made into bonded and coated abrasive products, wet or dry sandblasting abrasive blasting grit; suitable for ultra-precision lapping and polishing in the crystal and electronics industries, and the manufacture of advanced refractory materials, etc. Suitable for the machining of materials with higher hardness and greater tensile strength such as hardened steel, alloy steel, high-speed steel (HSS), and high-carbon steel. It can also be used as a catalyst carrier, insulator, and precision casting sand, etc.
GC micro-powder abrasive: can be made into bonded and coated abrasive products, used for free lapping and polishing, etc.; suitable for the machining of cast iron, cemented carbide, titanium alloy, high-speed steel, etc. It can also be used to lap non-metallic materials such as glass, ceramic, stone, agate, and advanced jewelry and jade, as well as heating elements and thermal energy elements, etc.
